Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary. Pope Benedict XVI

STEM Activites

We had some fun with Elias and baking soda, vinegar and food coloring.

We built dams out of duplos and then tested them outside.  Philip must have been at grandma and grandpa's that day.

A New Child of God!

Our newest nephew and Jeremy's newest Godson, Elias, was Baptized this weekend!
We had a little time to kill before the Baptism.  They're all matchy-matchy because we had a family picture for my parents' 40th wedding anniversary after the ceremony.  (Nick changed his shirt!)

Welcome to God's family Elias!

Welcome Elias!

We welcomed our newest nephew to the outside world last week!  He was born April 16th, somehow managing to get a day of his own in the birthday filled month of April, at least on my side of the family.  (It's Jeremy's dad's birthday but that doesn't make a difference to the two of them!)
Nicholas sort of acknowledged Elias' existence.  He "helped" Samuel hold him just long enough for me to snap the picture.
Poor Julia, the granddaughters are pretty unlikely to ever catch up at this point (7 girls, Beth?).  I'm already praying she'll have sisters in law and cousins in law that she loves.
