First Days!

We had lots of different first days but we've all started school now!

Nick went first on Aug 13th.  

This is the second year Neumann has had just 7th graders come for a day.  Everyone seems to like that set up.  A little less scary at a new building. Then everyone else starts the next day.  

Which for us was Philip as a sophomore,

(this was not the real first day, he had ridiculously early practice so this is after school on the second day but pretty close!)

and Julia as a SENIOR

apparently all the cool seniors got kiddie backpacks.  Julia has already kind of abandoned it because it's too small but that's okay, she got it at the band garage sale cheap.

My first day wasn't until the 21st

I have mostly 3rd grade again this year except the two hours I have 6th grade for reading and math.  The 3rd graders are much more laid back than last year and the 6th graders are easier as a group too.  But there's more of them than last year so a few more papers to grade.  It'll be fine!

Too Many Mice

So Jeremy mentioned we were getting a lot of mice and needed to get cats at a church Men's night.

The next day we got a text from Fr. Fleck asking if we really wanted cats.  He was at friends' house and on his way home he dropped off these two.  We know tons of people who have cats they want to get rid of but Father offered to drop these off.  Can't get any easier!

Unfortunately Bucky wasn't with us long but Luke has been okay by himself!  Here's hoping he has a long and happy life!

Bridal Store Fun!

My cousin Michelle is getting married!  She and Rachel were both in Nebraska at the same time so we had a cousins day in Wahoo.  We had lunch at Acapulco, poked around Husband's Approval and then went to the bridal store.  I did actually get my wedding dress there but I probably hadn't been in since Jen's wedding.  It has a lot of beautiful dresses!

Michelle already has two dresses she bought in Ukraine but we lived it up anyway!

This was our favorite. ❤️
